Membership of the Townsville Castle Hill Lions Club is by invitation, but applications are encouraged from all service minded men and women over the age of 18 years and of good moral character and reputation.
What will it cost me to be a Lion?
As a Townsville Castle Hill Lions Club member you will be asked to pay an annual membership fee to defray the cost of the club administration and Lions Organisation National and International Association costs. Fees are set by members and may vary from year to year. Currently the membership fee is $ 80.00 per year - payable in 2 half yearly payments of $ 40.00 due the First of January and July.
You are also responsible of the cost of your meal at Dinner Meetings. A Charge of $ 20.00 is presently applied to a substantial two course meal. You may opt to not eat at Dinner Meetings if you so wish. A small raffle and fun "Tail Twisting" session is conducted towards the conclusion of each meeting. Proceeds from these go towards our Den administration and equipment costs.
