We are the Townsville Castle Hill Lions

Lions Club International was formed in Chicago USA in 1917. It has become the world's largest and most active Service Club organisation with approximately 1.35 million members in more than 211 countries.

The first Australian Lions Club was formed in Lismore NSW in 1947. Today there are about 1400 clubs in Australia with a membership of approximately 28,000.
